Freelance mission
Context
During a freelance mission with the Mayasquad studio, I worked on the development of Paxtel, a management application tailored to social associations. This tool enables social workers to document and track their daily actions with users, such as helping homeless individuals obtain official documents or navigate complex social processes. Administrators also benefit from access to detailed data and statistics, which can be used to secure larger budgets for ongoing field operations.
Paxtel digitizes and centralizes all interactions with users, creating individual profiles with a history of each person's interactions and interventions. This streamlines the documentation process, making it easier for social workers to log updates in real-time, track users' progress, and prevent errors such as overlapping medication schedules or providing unsuitable meals. The system allows workers to follow up more efficiently, offering a clear record of the steps taken for each user, from initial contact to the completion of critical social services.
Improved tracking and documentation of social worker actions, leading to more effective service for homeless individuals and vulnerable populations.
Digital records and centralized information have replaced paper-based processes, increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of errors.
The application supports hundreds of daily users, enhancing productivity and enabling smoother handoffs between team members.
